The Penn 5in Split Ring Pliers are great for closing split- shot sinkers or cutting through fishing line. They are also useful for removing hooks in those inaccessible areas such as when a fish is hooked in the back or corner of the mouth. De-hooking a fish quickly is imperative so you can take a quick photo and release the fish back into the water to fight another day. These pliers also have a split-ring tool so you can easily open split rings to replace blunt, rusted or damaged hooks on your lures with super-sharp new ones! It is important to keep the hooks on your lures as sharp as possible, because they can be the difference between hooking the fish of a lifetime and the story about the one that got away. Made from high-quality stainless steel, this product is built with longevity in mind. It will resist rust and corrosion, even in coastal areas. Featuring a soft grip handle, this product is comfortable in your hands and provides excellent control and stability, even when exerting extra force such as when closing split-shot sinkers. This product can be easily stored in your tackle box when it is not in use. A dependable pair of pliers is one of the most important pieces of fishing gear that you can own, and Penn 5in Split Ring Pliers won’t let you down.
