Shimano Game Chaser

Description

Built for Australian game anglers, the Shimano Game Chaser is a premium offshore rod series designed to deliver a forgiving, yet powerful action when targeting tuna, marlin and other hard-fighting pelagic species. At the heart of the range is Shimano’s Armour 40-5 blank technology, engineered with a progressive action that loads deeper into the blank under pressure. The result is improved control throughout the fight, helping anglers maintain consistent pressure on fish while reducing fatigue during extended battles. The six-rod range covers line classes from 10kg through to 37kg in straight butt models, with 24kg and 37kg options available in bent butt. Premium ALPS roller guides provide smooth line flow under heavy loads, while durable alloy slick butt and ALPS bent butt assemblies ensure Game Chaser is ready for demanding offshore applications. Combining refined actions with premium componentry, Game Chaser delivers a purpose-built option for trailer boat anglers chasing Australia’s toughest game fish.
