“Win Your Wishlist” promotion — Terms and Conditions. Last updated 2 November 2026.
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Advanced Fishing, 75 Hoxton Park Rd, Liverpool NSW 2170 (“Advanced Fishing”, “we”, “us”). Enquiries: admin@advancedfishing.com.au, 0484 813 893.
2. Promotion period
The promotion runs from 12:00 am AEDT Monday 19 October 2026 to 11:59 pm AEDT Sunday 8 November 2026 (the “Promotion Period”), in three weekly entry periods: Week 1, Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October; Week 2, Monday 26 October to Sunday 1 November; Week 3, Monday 2 November to Sunday 8 November.
3. Who can enter
Entry is free and open to residents of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. There is no minimum age; entrants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s permission to enter, and the prize will be awarded to the parent or guardian on the entrant’s behalf. Directors, employees and contractors of Advanced Fishing, and their immediate families, are not eligible. No purchase is necessary.
4. How to enter
To enter a weekly draw, during that week an entrant must:
- Follow the Advanced Fishing Instagram account @advancedfishing_1; and
- Complete the entry form at advancedfishing.com.au/win-your-wishlist/enter/, giving their name, email address, mobile number, state, Instagram handle, and the fishing rod and fishing reel sold by Advanced Fishing that they would like to win (together, the “Wishlist Combo”).
One entry per person per weekly entry period. A person may enter each week. Duplicate entries in the same week (same email address or Instagram handle) count once. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm AEDT on the Sunday of the relevant week.
5. Draws
Three draws will be conducted at Advanced Fishing, 75 Hoxton Park Rd, Liverpool NSW 2170 at 6:00 pm AEDT on Monday 26 October 2026, Monday 2 November 2026 and Monday 9 November 2026. Each draw is a random selection from all valid entries received in the preceding week, streamed live on the Advanced Fishing Instagram account where practicable. The first valid entry drawn wins. The Promoter may draw reserve entries in case a winner is ineligible, is not following @advancedfishing_1 at the time of the draw, or cannot be contacted.
6. Prize
There are three prizes, one per weekly draw. Each prize is the winner’s Wishlist — the rod, reel and/or other fishing tackle products sold by Advanced Fishing that they nominated on their entry — up to a total recommended retail value of $1,000 (including GST). Total prize pool: $3,000. If the nominated items exceed $1,000, the winner may pay the difference or choose alternative items in stock up to $1,000 in total. If a nominated item is out of stock, an equivalent item of equal or greater value will be substituted by agreement with the winner. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prizes may be collected from either store or will be delivered free of charge within Australia.
7. Winner notification
Winners will be contacted by Instagram direct message, phone and email within two business days of each draw, and their first name and suburb will be published on the Advanced Fishing Instagram and Facebook pages and at advancedfishing.com.au/win-your-wishlist/ within seven days. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 30 days of the draw, the prize is forfeited and an unclaimed-prize draw will be held at the same place and time on the next business day after that period, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
8. General
- A person may win a maximum of one prize during the Promotion Period.
- Incomplete, fraudulent or ineligible entries will be disqualified. The Promoter may verify the residency, Instagram follow and identity of any entrant.
- The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.
- The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or a prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law).
- Where a draw cannot proceed as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Personal information collected for the promotion is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It will be used to conduct the promotion, contact winners and, where you have opted in, to send you marketing from Advanced Fishing. Winners’ first names and suburbs will be published as described above.
- This promotion is conducted in accordance with the NSW Community Gaming Regulation 2020. The total prize pool is below the threshold requiring an authority in NSW.
