Description
A premium long-cast combo with the reach for the rocks and beach but a manageable, all-day feel — ideal for salmon, tailor, kingfish off the stones, snapper and lure work where you need distance without going to a full surf rod.
It pairs the Abu Garcia Revo ALX Theta 4000SH, a lightweight, high-performance spinning reel with a super-high-speed retrieve and the smooth, powerful drag the ALX range is known for, with the Abu Garcia Veritas 5 VRT5-S 932H — a two-piece 9’3″ heavy rod rated 6–10kg. The extra length gives you serious casting distance and line control off the rocks and beach, while the 6–10kg rating and quality Veritas blank keep it lighter and more comfortable to fish all day than a heavier surf stick. The two-piece design also makes it easy to transport and store.
Long-casting, well-balanced and versatile, this is a quality outfit for the angler who fishes the rocks and beach but still wants a rod that’s a pleasure to use. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
