Description
The Daiwa Double Clutch has long been a benchmark in the world of suspending jerkbaits, and it remains a go-to choice for serious anglers. From bream specialists in Victoria and Tasmania to flathead and bass chasers in Queensland and New South Wales, this lure has earned its reputation as one of the most effective twitchbaits available.
Built with Daiwa’s Silent Gravity Oscillation System (S-GOS), the Double Clutch delivers exceptional casting distance and accuracy thanks to its tungsten sliding weight transfer. On the retrieve, its sharp, darting action kicks in immediately, giving anglers consistent results with minimal effort. The slim bib design helps the lure run deep and track straight, even at speed—a feature often missing in thinner profile jerkbaits.
Subtlety is also part of its design. Internal dampening washers reduce sound for a finesse-focused presentation, while the addition of upgraded Owner ST-36BC trebles on the 75mm and 95mm models ensures reliable hook-ups.
With a refreshed design and the introduction of nine new colour patterns in 2020, the Double Clutch range
now offers 29 colour options, giving anglers the versatility to match baitfish and conditions anywhere in Australia.
