Shimano Plays 3000A

Description

The Shimano Plays 3000A is a serious electric reel built for deep-dropping and heavy bottom fishing in Australian waters. Powered by Shimano’s Muteki Motor and the Fire Mach System, it delivers the torque and retrieval speed needed to haul large reef fish from significant depths without burning out your arms. The Cross Carbon Drag provides smooth, reliable stopping power rated to 15kg, while a robust 4/0 bearing setup keeps everything running under sustained load. With a 685g frame, 70cm retrieve per crank under power, and PE line capacity to handle 4-8 class braid, the Plays 3000A is a capable and practical tool for targeting snapper, hapuku, bass groper and other deep-water species. The 75mm handle gives solid leverage for those moments when you need manual control. If you’re serious about deep dropping, this reel deserves a close look. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
