Description
The Shimano Beastmaster 12000MD is a serious electric reel built for deep-water bottom fishing and heavy jigging from charter boats and private vessels alike. Powered by a 2.4 gear ratio motor and rated to 43kg of drag, it handles the grunt work on snapper, grouper, hapuku, and deepwater species with authority. The HAGANE body keeps flex out of the frame under extreme load, while the Fine Dot LCD screen gives you depth, speed, and counter readouts at a glance. Thermo Adjust Drag automatically compensates for heat-related drag variation during prolonged fights, keeping pressure consistent when it matters most. With a practical hoisting speed of 155 m/min at 1kg load and 88 m/min at 15kg, it retrieves fast without compromising pulling power. Spooled for PE 6–10 in most deepwater applications, the 12000MD covers the serious end of the electric reel spectrum. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
