Description
The Shimano Curado BFS is built for finesse baitcasting — light lures, light lines, and the kind of precision presentation that makes a difference when fish are being selective. Engineered around Shimano’s BFS (Bait Finesse System) braking technology, the Curado BFS lets you cast ultralight lures with a baitcaster without the backlash headaches that typically come with the territory. The Hagane Body keeps the frame rigid under load, X-Ship delivers smooth, efficient power transfer through the retrieve, and the Cross Carbon Drag provides consistent, reliable stopping power despite the compact drag rating. Silent Tune rounds things out with a refined, rattle-free feel on the crank. Rated at 8.2:1 gear ratio, 3.5kg drag, and tipping the scales at just 175g, it’s a capable, well-finished reel for anglers chasing bream, bass, estuary perch, and other species where finesse counts. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery. baits to increase their success on the water.
