The Daiwa 20 HRF PE Special TW is a high-speed baitcasting reel built specifically for hard rock fishing with braided PE line. Running an aggressive 8.1:1 gear ratio, it retrieves line fast — critical when you need to pull fish clear of structure in a hurry. At just 185g, it punches well above its weight for a reel designed to handle the demands of heavy PE. Key features include the T-Wing System (TWS) for smooth, low-friction line flow, PE Tuned Magforce Z magnetic braking dialled for braid, ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) delivering 5.5kg of smooth stopping power, and a heavy-duty brass drive gear for long-term durability under load.
