Description
The Shimano Curado DC 200 is a high-performance baitcaster built around Shimano’s I-DC4 digital control braking system, which automatically adjusts magnetic brake force up to 1,000 times per second to virtually eliminate backlash. The CI4+ body keeps weight down to just 230g, while the Hagane body construction ensures the frame resists flex under load. X-Ship technology reduces gear wear and improves power transfer for a noticeably smoother retrieve. With a 7.4:1 gear ratio delivering 81cm per crank, the Curado DC 200 HG suits anglers who need to work lures quickly or pick up line fast when a fish turns. Drag sits at 5.5kg — solid for bream, flathead, bass, and lighter estuary work. It’s equally at home throwing soft plastics, hard-bodies, or topwater lures. Available in right- and left-hand retrieve. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
