Shimano Twin Power FE: Where Innovation Meets Tradition
The Shimano 24 Twinpower FE is a serious performer built for anglers who demand durability and precision without stepping up to Stella money. Cold-forged Hagane gearing keeps the drivetrain tight and efficient under load, while InfinityDrive and InfinityXross construction reduce internal friction for a noticeably smoother wind. Duracross drag washers deliver consistent, reliable pressure across a wide range, and X-Protect water resistance means this reel handles spray, splash and the occasional dunking without skipping a beat. Infinityloop ultra-slow oscillation lays line evenly for longer, more accurate casts, and the Anti-Twist Fin keeps braid from diving under the spool lip. Spanning the C2000SFE through to the C5000XGFE, the FE range covers light finesse work right through to solid inshore and offshore applications. Nine ball bearings plus one roller bearing round out a reel that punches well above its price point. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
