The Shimano Beastmaster 9000B is a serious electric reel built for deep-dropping and heavy jigging in Australian offshore waters. Powered by a Giga Max Motor and housed in a rigid Hagane Body, it delivers 20kg of practical power and hoisting speeds that hold up under sustained load — 119 m/min at 10kg and 96 m/min at 15kg. The Cross Carbon Drag system provides smooth, consistent pressure across the full 25kg drag range, while the Thermo Adjust Drag compensates for heat build-up during long fights, keeping drag performance honest when it matters most. At 1,485g it’s purpose-built for targeting deep-water species like snapper, hapuku, bass groper and blueeye trevalla. PE line capacity runs to 6-1100, 8-900, 10-650 or 12-550, covering everything from mid-range to serious deep-water work.
