Description

The Shimano Spheros SW is a purpose-built saltwater spinning reel designed for anglers who demand serious offshore performance without stepping into flagship pricing. Built around a Hagane gear and body construction, the Spheros SW delivers rigid, corrosion-resistant durability that handles the punishment of reef, rock, and bluewater fishing. X-Shield and X-Protect water resistance keep salt and spray out of the internals, while Cross Carbon Drag provides smooth, consistent stopping power under sustained runs from pelagics and bottom dwellers alike. X-Ship gear alignment improves cranking efficiency and reduces wear over the long haul. Available in seven models from 5000 to 20000, the Spheros SW covers everything from light inshore jigging to heavy offshore live baiting and slow-pitch work. All models feature a 4+1 bearing configuration and are rated to handle braided lines well into the heavy PE classes. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
