Shimano 24 Caius

Description

The Shimano 24 Caius HG is a compact baitcaster built to handle real fishing — not just look the part. Constructed with a rigid Hagane Body, it resists flex under load and keeps internal components in precise alignment cast after cast. Infinity Drive reduces pinion gear friction for smooth, powerful cranking, while Silent Drive keeps things quiet and consistent throughout the retrieve. The Cross Carbon Drag delivers reliable, progressive stopping power with a 5kg max drag from a reel weighing just 185g. At a 7.2:1 gear ratio, it’s a high-speed option well suited to lures, soft plastics, and presentations that demand a fast, controlled retrieve. With a solid mono and braid capacity, it’s versatile enough for estuary bream, bass, and inshore light-tackle work. A capable, well-priced baitcaster from one of the most trusted names in fishing. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
