Shimano Baitrunner Longcast

Description

The Shimano Baitrunner Longcast is built for anglers who need serious line capacity and reliable freespool performance — whether you’re targeting bream and flathead in the estuary or running live baits for mulloway and kingfish. Available in Medium and Big configurations, both reels feature Hagane Gearing for smooth, durable power transfer, X-Ship for improved gear alignment under load, and Shimano’s Long Cast AR-C spool for extended casting distance. The Baitrunner freespool system lets fish run with a bait without feeling resistance, then a simple handle turn re-engages the main drag instantly. Aero Wrap II line lay keeps your mono or braid sitting evenly on the spool, while S A-RB shielded bearings keep salt and grit out. With drag ratings of 15 kg and 20 kg respectively, these reels have the grunt to handle whatever swims your way. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
