Description

The Shimano OCEA JIGGER is a dedicated slow-pitch and speed jigging reel built to handle the demands of serious offshore fishing. Constructed with a rigid HAGANE body, it eliminates flex under load so every bit of power transfers directly to the fish. Infinity Drive reduces winding resistance for sustained cranking in deep water, while Micromodule Gear II delivers the precise, smooth retrieve you need when working jigs at depth. X-Protect keeps saltwater intrusion at bay across long sessions. Available in 1500, 2000NR and 4000 sizes with HG and PG gear ratio options, the OCEA JIGGER covers everything from yellowtail kingfish to amberjack and deep-dropping for snapper. Drag capacity ranges from 7 kg on the 1500 up to 18 kg on the 4000, giving you the grunt to turn big fish in heavy current. If you’re serious about jigging, this reel belongs on your rod. Available in store at our Liverpool and Chipping Norton stores, or order online for Australia-wide delivery.
