Built around a Hagane body for rigidity under load, it features Shimano’s InfinityDrive and HEG (High Efficiency Gearing) system for smooth, powerful cranking even when fighting hard-running pelagics. S-ARB bearings resist corrosion in saltwater environments, while the E.I. Surface Treatment adds durability across all contact points. The Talica 8 and 10 deliver a 6.2:1 gear ratio with 9kg of drag — ideal for lighter bluewater jigging and mid-range trolling. Step up to the Talica 12 or 16 for 18kg of drag and a slightly lower 5.7:1 ratio built to handle larger species and heavier loads.
